India’s Bengaluru, May 4, 2023: The world’s top professional services firm, EY, and the leading skills intelligence and assessment platform, iMocha, today issued a research titled “Tech skills transformation – Navigating the future of work in 2025 and beyond.” The research is an in-depth investigation into how technology skills are becoming more prevalent outside of traditional IT roles in all occupational types. The study evaluates the subject via three lenses: organizations’ responses to the transformation of tech skills, in-demand tech skills across fields, and organizational impacts.
According to the report, a sizable majority of surveyed organizations—81%—acknowledged that there was a lack of “power user or developer” tech skills. Only 19% of the organisations reported having a talent taxonomy in place, whereas 43% had done employee-level skill benchmarking. Read more-
